Professor Garfield

This is kinds of a different technology for me to have chosen especially since it is more geared for elementary/middle school reading than it is to high school, but it went hand in hand with the technique for dealing with digital students that I thought I would try to implement... storyboarding.

Please check out my presentation, which I created in Google docs - there is a great publish option which gives you the HTML code to imbed your work into other applications like a Blog! I would use this presentatiopn for students and teachers, the only difference being that for students I would not show the last two slides, but instead let them know what their specific assignment is.

I found out about this technology from a peer who assigned a storyboard and Professor Garfield Comic to her classes, the results were great - especially from the art minded kids who usually struggle in Chemistry!
