What an experiences??
Wow!! Where have I been? Under a rock, sense May 5, 2003 Linkedin.com on Web 2.0 was launched by CEO Jeff Weiner. The site is a platform for professionals to connect with others through networking around the globe. Another aspect of the website is a chance for companies looking for individuals who have unique qualifications and experiences. Jeff Weiner CEO of Linkedin stated the site was also used to connect college gradates to professionals in order to share ideas and their expertise in the field. In order to be part of such a globe site individuals join and type a professional profile this way people and business can find effectively. The Linkedin would be a place for educators to network ideas, opinions, sharing new technology being used in their classrooms. I can find what if being used in the classroom in other places without leaving the comforts of the classroom. None only can I see what is working in Omaha, NE but across the globe. In this fast pace world Linkedin brings professionals together in one location. Another bonus is people are limited on time so this site gives the flexibility professionals need. Linkedin helps keep you informed of the current trends around the world while at home, in your office, or on your phone. People are able to add photos, graphs, and flowcharts onto their blog to share with others. It is broken into sections like career, blog, help center, tools, advertising, recruiting solutions, and many more which makes it easy to navigate.
