Your assignments for week 1 should now be available both on blackboard under the week 1 folder as well as on the course blog under the "assignments" link on the right hand side under pages.
Your blog post and blog comments should be completed through this blog site. Your weekly paper should be emailed privately to the address listed in the syllabus.
Here is a great video that walks you through blogger. Note that the section relevant for you starts about 2:55 seconds into the video since I have already created this blog.
Once you have decided on your topic for your week 1 blog post please post it as a comment to this blog post so we can avoid students doing duplicate topics. Here are some links to help you if you are new to blogging.

ReplyDeleteHi All, quick clarification - you can do the same suggested topic as another student - just focus on something different. So for example, if more than one person wanted to do #1 (model blog post from last year) that would be fine - just include in the comment which blog post you've picked. That way another person can pick another model blog post. The same thing for prompt #3 - more than one person can do a blog post on #3 but if each person could review a different software title that would be great. Hope that helps.

ReplyDeleteDanny, I can not tell if the blog I meant to post as my assignment blog looks like a blog or a response to a blog. This is confusing. So far, I have posted a flyer,a blog and responded to one blog (I think). Sheesh, is there a book called "Blogging for dummies?"
