  1. Creating this flier on the blog was way touchier than creating it on Microsoft Word. First of all, the margins on the blog are not as easy to work with as the margins in word. Also, there are not as many font options so there were not some of the possibilities mentioned in the actual instructions. I originally tried to just add a graphic and it was really picky about what it would and wouldn't upload. I had to use an actual photo. Lastly, once I pushed backspace, and it went back somehow and erased the entire thing!! That would never happen in word. I for sure need to get better at this blog!!

  2. I had many of the same problems. Also when I previewed my blog the entire last half was in some huge font that took me forever to fix. I am still not sure how I got rid of it. It took me much longer than I expected to get the whole thing ready to post. I also need to get better at the blog!

  3. I'm terribly sorry about the backspace erasing all of your work - I've had that happen many times as well.

I believe if you use Google Chrome as your internet browser it will usually have a popup warning when you're about to leave a page that's been edited. It's the free browser available from Google that I use about 90% of the time.

    Nice job on the flyer!

  4. It is very touchy, I ran into the same problem this morning. I will download Google Chrome tonight onmy home computer since our distrit won't let us download it here. The warning message will be extremely helpful!!!

I liked the flyer, any chance that you can utilize Microsoft word and copy and paste the new font(s) over into the blog? Is there any copyright issues or permissions required to post pictures into a blog? Can you post hyperlinks to a .pdf document on say a server like Google Docs?

This week is a good week to experiment with the Blog! Have a good day!

  5. I really like your flyer! I thought it was very eye catching and simple and to the point. I'm someone who just wants to know the information I need without having to read tons of descriptions, text, extra information, etc. Your flyer gave exactly the information it needed with a great eye catching theme. Nicely done!
