Creating My Own Website...Not So Bad

At first I chose to create my own web page, which turned into a website. Frightening as it may seem, it was not terribly difficult. Time consuming yes, but with a lot of patience and my wife encouraging (badgering) me I have succeeded.

I started by searching for sites to help me create a web page. I used Wix. There was no fee to join and no fee to post you website on the web. There are options where you can use your own domain and you can eliminate the Wix ads, but I do not feel like shelling out any addition funds at this point in time. I will save those options for later.

Wix has great video tutorials to help you get started and to show you how to create just about everything. Once I understood some of the basics I lashed out on my own and trial-and-errored my way to the end. I hope to get better at this as time goes on. The future of my site looks promising.

Check it out at www.wix.com/leereimer/algebra. Right now it is kind of vanilla, but I have only been at this for a week. I have also written a little description that I can give to the kids in the fall to help them navigate the site. They probably will not need it, but just in case.
